Tithes, Offerings, and Seeds

About the book

Are you giving out of fear—or out of faith?

Millions of Christians faithfully hand over 10% of their gross income every month, often under the weight of warnings about curses, poverty, and divine punishment. But what if the church has been teaching tithing wrong for generations?

In Tithes, Offerings, and Seeds, author Joseph Cobby Asare Adjei undertakes a bold, Scripture-by-Scripture examination of what God's Word actually says about giving—and the results are eye-opening.

Drawing on deep biblical scholarship and a passion for reforming church practices, Adjei reveals:

Why the tithe was never meant for the New Testament church — and who it was originally reserved for under Mosaic Law How to calculate your tithe correctly — on net profit, not gross income The voluntary, joy-filled nature of true offerings — free from manipulation and guilt The powerful biblical principle of sowing seeds — and how to give in a way that genuinely moves heaven Why threatening believers with curses over money is unbiblical — and how to identify manipulation in your church How to break free from the prosperity gospel and return to authentic, grace-based stewardship
